I do this with long fanfictions too, when the angst comes in, i'm like okay then, I'll come back later when all of this is solved, bye :D

And this is why I’m waiting till all of this drama with the ex is settled before reading again. This way I won’t have to deal with feeling depressed for weeks and instead just get it over with all in one go once the chapters are out lol
The moment they introduced the ex, I was like “NOPE I’M OUT. Be back later~!” xD
