I disagree. There has been mentioned in the past that the mc was involved in an accident in the past. I am beginning to wonder if his uncle is the reason. Did he find them together?
The mc's memories of HS are all soft and blurred when he is thinking about how he wishes he could return to these days. I think we are finding out why. It's a shame, they were really sweet memories.
In the last few chapters I see the same scenes over and over again. When they are both young but even then nothing significant really happens. We see so little of their present situation. I think the plot stuck.
