The only thing that threw me off was the birthday one, every muslim person I know, including myself celebrates their birthday. Maybe it's a saudi thing?? But that one was weird

    its not celebrated by most arab muslims, as it really isnt considered a holiday. (▰˘◡˘▰)

    I'm arab muslim, and have yet to meet anyone who does not make it a day ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ like all libyans, syrians, Palestinian, jordans, Lebanese, and Egyptians I know celebrate. I'm going to say it's saudis and leave it at that

    As am I and my entire family doesn't celebrate birthdays. It may be an American/ Canadian factor like if you're born out of your descent state that you celebrate it I guess.

    That's intetesting, I went back home to the middle East and my whole family and others celebrate it. Maybe it depends on what sect of Muslim your from. Cool to know (●'◡'●)ノ

    i think its because some muslims like to stick to their religioious festivals and since there is nothing about birthdays(i think) maybe thats why its not celebrated. My grandma doesnt even know her birthday :/

    Yeah it's not even deemed important by the Palestinians I know. But like I said the American Palestinians I know do celebrate it so it may be the mix of culture and religion

    my family from my father side don't really celebrate birthdays but from my mother side we have birthdays party
    and for me my friends bring for my birthday gifts but i've never had a birthday party (only when i was 5 years old) (/TДT)/
