Why? You don't want a story that makes sense?
Haru is unconsciously blaming ren for his parents' death, that's why he forgets ren every time he has a memory loss. It means that his mind thinks that if ren was never there or if he had never visited ren in the first place., his parents would have never died. The story revolves around memory loss a lot so u just have to deal with it. I personally like it but at the same time, I also do dislike it.
