Why should she? I guess her story is getting tons of views and is bought in Japan like crazy over the years or else editors would made her stop years ago?

Hum, it hasn't gone anywhere? Have you not read the manga? Kyoko has grown so much as a person! This chapter today even showed it. Kyoko back then who wanted to use acting for revenge and Kyoko now who really love acting. That's character development.
agreed, plus how she is also being able to separate herself(emotions) from her character. Because she was unable to when she was doing it in PR for jerk's music video.

There are many mangas out that has good character development. It doesn't take 13 years of our time. If the pacing is the way it is, the chapters need to be longer. And yes, there are mangas out there that are longer than 30 pages and just as good if not better. Don't get me wrong. I am a fan of Skip Beat! and just like many fans out there I have been reading this manga for about 13 years, waiting for updates and re-reading it while waiting. My observation and opinion of this manga: The pacing is slow, not just romance, character development, closures, etc. You name it.
