While everyone is praising Minsuk, I think he didn't try enough. He was about to let that jackass have his way with him. He could have been slapped him! He's always been able to kick his ass! What would have happened if the other guy wouldn't have done that? So, NO, I'm not satisfied and I hope he has to actually chase him to Siberia...otherwise it's a fluke and a cop out to me... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭....That was a nice bitch slap though. (●'◡'●)ノ...but too late in my opinion...

In this situation you have to be calm with the other person as they may act violently or lash out unexpectedly. I think it was the right call if someone was able to overpower you and because the cops arrived it allowed him to slap some sense into the guy, getting him off guard during the confusion. Acting quickly throughout the apartment scene to escape.

I don't think that jerk of an ex was going to beat him senseless though...You're right on some level...But I still think Minsuk didn't try enough. How did he even gt to his apartment? What about screaming in the parking lot for help?...

Doesn't he have a code to his apartment? Pretty sure Minsuk didn't change it since he barged in the apartment when Bexan was there. So he would have gotten it anyway.

you see, none of the apartment scene would have happened if minsuk didn't let his ex inside his house. Ex blocks his car? okay, why not slap the hell out of his ex the minute he confronted him? then, idk, run? he can call the cab or take public transportation just to get out of there. ex doesn't even seem to be particularly violent (was there a scene where he physically assaulted minsuk?) its just unnecessary drama tbh

but why was minsuk there with him too? wasn't he leaving to go meet bexan? he could've hailed a cab?? or a bus?? why did he stay with his shitty ex in HIS apartment instead of rushing to stop bexan like what he was supposed to do in the first place? its not like we saw the ex literally keeping him hostage (like tying him up or shit like that? gahd we didn't even see a single bruise on minsuk?)

Precisely! I think Minsuk met him halfway and couldn't because his Ex is always in control of their relationship; past and present. Minsuk explained to him on multiple occasions in fact he isnt interested but the Ex pushed again, overpowering the situation possibly showing his desire for Minsuk thinking it was okay given they shared a history and were intimate. So in order to change his mind, he keeps pushing but Minsuk again says no. It made the scene uncomfortable because the Ex refused to listen or accept this and pushed on. Meanwhile, Minsuk tries to get through to him again, possibly on alert of his Ex's overbearing control by maintaining a distance and staying calm in order to think of a way out. So the Ex may not have become physically abusive but he was certainly very aggressive from his body language indicating his strong desires and the possible direction it COULD have turned if Minsuk tried to fight back which may have resulted into a struggle as the Ex is confused or unhinged, not knowing what to do other than what he's always done to get his way. To push with aggression and overpower his partner into submission. Also if Minsuk hit him during his confusion and aggressive state it MIGHT have developed into rape if Minsuk tried to swing at him. Minsuk isn't prone to fighting but has a couple good swings in him but not against someone with more strength. He did have a sweet slap/hook there in the last scene though. Anyway with the help of having the cops allowed Minsuk to gain an ounce of control and distraction to his advantage.
But anyway I agree with your statement. Its similar to many victims who are forced into a situation, unable do anything because they were overcome with fear, feeling unconfortable, or other but should never have been forced into to begin with.

Thank you for wording it better than I! (▰˘◡˘▰) Say it loud, say it proud! Minsuk has his kitty gloves with his ex. Never really puts up a fight and takes it so easy...Doesn't seem like a man ready to fight for Bexan. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I can understand what you're saying But Minsuk even is more aggressive than Bexan. He didn't attempt to get away from him in the parking lot. If he was REALLY scared, the parking lot was the place to risk it. Hell even ram the car. I've seen it done, you know cause an uproar...But as always the ex had control. Lets himself be pushed into an engagement he truly didn't want but for the sake of convenience and stability. He comes off as callous too. Minsuk is no victim...If he portrayed that throughout the manga I'd understand better but he's not except when it comes to the ex...

so if the ex almost raped him and minsuk is 'scared', the best course of action as an adult is to invite this 'mentally unhinged' person inside your house? Really? Not call security, or the police the minute things might turn ugly? i just find it all hard to believe that minsuk, finally resolved to following after bexan to stop him from leaving, gets stopped by his ex by blocking his car (because clearly is THAT all it takes to stop him??) then for some reason, invites him inside his house??? does that make any sense?

what about minsuk's supposed character development a couple of chapters ago? i think minsuk is capable enough to make good decisions, i give him that much credit when he became self aware about how shitty and controlling his ex was. so far his course of action has been reasonable and he was firm when he decided to end things with his ex and go after bexan. But the minute his ex comes, he backtracks and allows ex to stop him from going after what he wants. AGAIN. so much for character development. i think misunderstood your comment though, i apologize ( ̄∇ ̄")

Actually I do have some experience and it isn't fun for sure...Now like tsukki said. What happened to character development? Oh right, it doesn't work if it his ex.
