Actually being with Jae Yeol is too predictable. Following your logic the author is also showing how Seojong and Hyungsuk are attracted to each other despite how the other looks. After all, for the longest time neither Seojong nor Hyungsuk knew/suspected the truth about each other and neither did the readers about Seojong. If the author is playing to the yaoi fan base, he must ALSO be playing to the base that supports a true romance between a very pretty girl and a conventionally 'ugly' guy, which, according to you, is not predictable. Unless you want to argue against what you said, before, now.
Lol ! Did you realize that this manhwa is NOT a BL nor yaoi ? But a supposed conventional Seinen story where, if a romantic relationship is involved, the guy will always end up with a girl ? Unless it's specifically described as "Yaoi". (No matter how big and strong is the yaoi fanbase of Lookism).

I doubt we're the only one to think that, Frisky. It's common nowadays for authors to add some strong shonen-ai elements to attract the yaoi fans (popularity, sales...) in shonen and seinen mangas/manwhas. We as desperate yaoi fans are often played with... but can't have our cake, unless author-san change the course for such story. Though we know that won't happen for Lookism.
Yup, that's true. Even in animes you can see a lot of shounen ai elements just for yaoi fans but well, in the end nothing will happen between them.. I think that's super cruel of the authors ._.

I think PTJ sama already know how the yaoifans ship hard this pairine, but author-san here is a male and popular artiste, internet personality in Korea, and he would'nt want to be categorized as yaoi author I think. He wouldn't want either to scare away the hetero fanbase (seinen, shojo...). So there is an extreme minus chance for a Jae Yeol X Hyun Suk, but the masochist us can still pray

I have the impression that author-san PTJ knows well that this manhwa has a great potential for BL. He wants to attract the most people possible (yaoifangirls) by exploiting that filon, but he totally playing with us poor crazy fujoshis' heart.
