In some sense, yes you're right. But I probs wouldn't like her if I was her classmate anyways. I mean sure I pretty much like anyone I meet but some people just have habits that tick you in the wrong way, and you just feel that their character doesn't feel compatible with yours. Not even as a love-hate sort of relationship.
Dude she's a fictional character if people hate or love her it doesn't affect anything in real life. Shaming people for disliking a character doesn't make them like the character any less. And saying that people hate her because she's a girl character in a shounen ai sounds more like you are patronizing people and making an assumption that people dislike her because she's a girl and not for the fact that she was basically a terrible person who used people (the guy who liked her) and basically called her friends ugly.
Sorry for the rant it just annoys me when people used the 'you can't hate this female characters because of ........' or else you are the bad person. Like chill it's a fictional character them and the story aren't real. Stop acting like our feelings for a character affect them like they would if they were real.
I know she is a fictional character and everyone is free to have their opnions so I'm not shaming anyone my dear but the arguments are mostly pointing out her previous behavior which is totally different from now , people need to let go of things and some are complaining about things but i don't even see it happening anymore, i commented this to explain that she realized her mistakes bc some people miss things when reading apparently and if you pretend that there aren't a good number of people who read yaoi / shounen ai who hate on girls when they are on these mangas you are being hypocritical cause they do and a lot, ofc is not everyone maybe i should be more specific and say that a good part of people hate on girls on yaoi mangas ... also I'm not making this up if you read yaoi for a few years you've probably seen some discussion about this on forums / comment sections outhere

She is just a kid like everyone else in this fucking manga , she is a spoiled kid realizing the world doesn't revolve around her , she is learning with her mistakes , she is slowly changing i like her better now than before when she was with those girls pretending to be nice, life is hitting hard on her face ( literally) so she can learn how to be a better person and we all went through that at some point in our life some learned the lesson and some didn't... i hope she does , she is not a bad person after all and you all know that stop hating her just bc she is a girl character in a manga with the tag shounen ai ... bla bla " i hate her bc she is a bitch and rude " well she is trying to change that , at least she is making an effort so let's support her so she can grow up a nice girl and be someone who had friends ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
