I think Jin is a clone, but Setona isn't. Setona made a clone because his lover's dead. The clone turned out to be different from the real Jin so Setona was mad and drowned himself, but he didn't die. He was unconscious and lost his memory. Then the clone took him to the laboratory and made it looks like Setona was a clone to hurt him because he wanted to make him feel the same way he felt when Setona made him but didn't love him. At the end the clone wanted to drown himself because he didn't feel like he belonged there and Setona stopped him because he was finally able to love the clone and not the dead Jin. That's what I understand tho so I may be wrong.
That is also what I got too from the story.
About the abuse part, some couple likes it rough, you know? I don’t know if it is still consider abuse when one consented to it, but it seemed like Setona like it rough in bed but the clone Jin is too soft and that doesn’t resemble his late lover: original Jin.
Thank you for trying to explain it I think I understand a little better I still think this story is cruel and disturbing and I hate that they ended up together in the end.
Two consenting adults having rough sex is very different then what happened to the clone after he woke up. That was rape, there was no consent he even said he didn't want to and lamented the fact that he didn't even know his rapists name. I don't have a problem with people having kinks, hell I read yaoi but that was rape not rough sex.
