That still violates copyright. It doesn't matter the language. Sharing the Korean raws or official English translations is still illegal distribution.

If the translators were asked by the publisher themselves to taken down the chapters, it would also apply to raws. OP was asking if raws were okay to be shared. I just said, "No." Sharing raws or translated chapters are still the same thing. That's my point.

Yeah, I get your point. But eventually someone is going to upload the chapters. Especially now that they are being translated by tappytoon. So it doesn't really matter what the author wants. That's the whole point of this website existing, no author wants their work published for free, and yet here we are.

Well we only have to hope that thanks to the copyrights the author can pursue the uploaders with legal actions huh ? They already personally stepped up once, they won't let it happen again, all I hope is that you're wrong and no pathetic shitty person with no respect for people's wishes will upload the official translation, because the only result they'll get is to have to author totally drop their work and bye bye the 2nd season. It already happened and it's an understandable decision.

The author was bothered by the fact it was uploaded so the least we can do to thank them is to respect their choice and support them.

Why are you taking it over the top? I was simply replying to OP. I did not mention my stance on the matter. They asked since translated chapters were not allowed, then if raws were okay. I just answered with a "no" because regardless of whether or not a chapter was translated into a number of languages, how would raws make a difference?

Nowhere did I say "You guys are bad", "This is wrong", etc. It is a fact that that this violates copyright. But the moment I mention anything about copyright, of course, people are going to attack me for no reason. You also just stated that you recognized that this is copyright violation. But there is a small difference here, this story IS available in english, the author made it accessible to us so what reasons do we have to still read it illegally if we can do it legally ??
I discovered a lot of stories on mangago I admit it, but if I love it and it's available in a language I can understand then I'll try to buy it ? I can't afford it ? Too bad I should accept it and deal with it.
I also never read the manga where mangago only ripped off the official english translation (lezhin comics mostly). Does that makes what I do right ? No but it's a tiiiiiny sign of respect.

If I reacted so fiercely at your comments it's because you sound like it's a given that people will share the official english translation and you absolutely couldn't give less of a damn about the author. That's how you sounded at least.
The excuse a lot of people used to not buy the raws were "I can't understand so it's no use buying it" so the author and editors listened to their fanbase and licensed it in english so what's the excuse now except 'I'll always find an excuse to never support the author because I'm entitled", I'm not talking about you but in a general sense.

I think we should look back at how better the whole scanlation community was few years ago, the whole point of scanlations (and the feeling a lot of team still share, hence why they immediately drop licensed work) : Make international fans discover new stories, new authors in a language they can understand while pushing you to be thankful to the author by supporting them when their work are available in your country.

But oh well it's no use arguing, I have a feeling we'll never agree and it would be a waste of energy, time and space.

No, don't worry. I agree with you on that part (and I'm being sincere, not sarcastic).
But I know how the internet works, and I know that someone will eventually upload it even if it angers the author -__- so there's really no point in arguing or saying that they shouldn't upload the chapters

Sorry I was too aggressive in my answers, I'm just so tired of this mess.

I wish we lived in a world where people could acknowledge that being an author is a real job which means you need to be paid for it if you want to make a living and ... wouldn't be so selfish.

While you're sure that it's going to get uploaded here I'll keep on hoping you're wrong and that the editors will prevent it, for not only the author but the future of the story (it's sad to think that I deeply wish this story would lose a lot of hype and interest on here so she could be a bit safer).

If people "really" loves it they would support the author because seeing the mess that happened earlier I wouldn't be surprised if the author decided to drop this story for good (the future 2nd season) if she's betrayed once again, no one wants to work for nothing after all. Some authors already did it so it's something I can see happening unfortunately.

Oh well we shall wait and see.
