I agree with everything. The story feels totally unresolved, like it was just stopped midway. The uke still seems ambivalent about who he actually has feelings for, and the reader could be excused for suspecting that he is using the seme for a replacement for Grandpa. Which is why the seme can't and won't speak of his feelings. It kind of ruins any good vibes the manga created.
this is both good and bad. The atmosphere, the idea, and such are all good. The bad part is it's lacking character development, chemistry, and feeling concluded. With how things happened, it doesn't feel like they fell in love but became friends with benefits. A small speech and he switches over who he is sexually attracted to while still adoring the grandfather. While our fireworks expert shows he might have something change, but nothing does, His biggest change is what happens when the story starts and we don't see any real struggle.
