VERONICA WAS THE FINAL BOSS ALL ALONG. OH SHIT. I TRUSTED HER. AND I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKED HER BEFORE THAT!!!
I never was crazy obsessed with this Manhua, I just really liked the art style and main characters. The plot was kinda messy and I kinda wished rather than the tru enemy just being a jealous girl in the end it was actually about how society systematically oppresses minorities to a deep and rooted extent. Like honestly I got a great thrill out of the twist but it kinda dilutes the message I think that Juns was trying to go for. There were so many characters and things happening behind the scenes I could barely understand what was going on and the flow of how the comic went (how it often jumped around from place to place and past to present) could make things even more confusing. The art was stunning tho, I loved it. Overall though I really enjoyed this story as a love story on the surface (not as a high tense action/mystery drama kinda series, tho I don’t think it was intended to be one anyways). I even found myself crying when Simon woke up omlll. (Also yay to no gender roles in BL!!)
SORRY FOR THOSE WHO I MIGHT SPOIL THIS TOO IN ADVANCE, I THOUGHT THAT IT THE SPACE I PROVIDED BEFORE THE TEXT WOULD STAY WHEN I SUBMITTED IT SO IT WOULD ONLY BE SEEN IF U PRESSED TO SEE MORE SORRRYYY
