I see what you're saying and i agree, however i feel like the scenario described in this manga is an exception. If you've seen what someone looks like and know their age, you could recognize them, but i think you'd only make the connection in places you'd expect to find them. He is attending high school walking amongst students wearing a school uniform, yet she still saw him and was like "he's in disguise, i'll run up and slap him without making sure it's him". If i saw you in japan and then went to america and saw your doppelganger, i would assume it was a look alike because what are you doing in america? You see what i mean?
Well, one was obsessedly inlove with him and the other obsessedly hated his guts? Those kinds of feelings surely call for pretty attentive memory, right?
I
Yes, that was something i agreed with both of you on, what i had said in response however is that the setting he was recognized in is a little unbelievable. If you think about it, it doesn't matter how strong your connection to someone is if you encounter them in an area that they "couldn't possibly be", you'll just assume it's a look alike or relative. I have a strong connection with my family, i could pick them out of a crowd, but if i left the country and saw someone who looked identical to my brother i'd go over and be like "holy shit, you look just like my brother, let me get a pic", not rush over and start accusing the guy of having followed me cross-country while assuming he is my brother. Same in a school setting, my brother doesn't attend high school so if i saw a kid identical to him with a backpack on walking and talking with friends at the school entrance i'd be like "Oh, shit. This coincidence", but i wouldn'g assume he was my brother in disguise infiltrating the school.
Obviously once i got closer and saw that they were LITERALLY identical i might need to call my brother and show him, but my brother is still young enough to be in high school and that's why. In the case of the uke here, that lady saw a 28 year old man's look alike in a setting where he literally couldn't possibly be and immediately reacted extremely.
It wasn't anywhere near the school that she slapped him, though, that looks like it was in the subway... It also looks like she came at him from behind or from the side. If she saw him from behind while he was looking sideways, she wouldn't have seen the school tie or school label and since he wasn't wearing his school jacket, she may not have realized that it was a student uniform that he was wearing till after she had already recognized him.
Anyway, just saying. Your posts just got me a bit intrigued as well.
You're right, i had seen the "hey, what're you doing for summer break" and him walking in a crowd of people and thought he was on his way to school. It looks as though he could be on his way back from sensei's house after the sex? Though i don't understand why the friend was there. From the looks of it, that lady approached him from the side or back, which means she didn't even see his face when she decided she was so sure it was him that she'd chase after him and slap him. She was like "it's him! His profile is JUST like that! -slap-".

Why is his disguise being seen through so often? He's apparently young enough looking that the high school students don't realize he's 28, but the teacher and some random chick from his past see him ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL and rather than assume he's a look alike or his son they just jump to "oh, it's him in disguise". What the actual fuck?
