Yeah, there hasn't been a hint on it. But I think it might be his happiness. If I took clues properly, the MC and grandma has a fight before the grandma died. Maybe the grandma knows she'll died soon and leave his son alone regretting the fight and succumb to people's demand.
The white dragon god is clearly a powerful being and has control over weather. If he wants MC to become bride, he can easily use his power, but then the deal with grandma is off.
Or maybe I'm overthinking everything and the grandma is just a fujoshi like someone said lol.
I never understood how people think they can treat others badly for money. As for our heros, they are so cute. and our main seems to not be a people person. I still want to know what the deal was, because so far I can't tell.
