seems Lezhin is treating the autors badly. I just googled. THe authors protested in front of the lezhin building
Yeah apparently they aren't paying them for chapters and still demanding them to release chapters. I'm not sure if there's a point to carry on buying from Lezhin if they aren't going to do the decent thing. What if all Lezhin readers emailed Lezhin and demanded they step up, would that make a difference?
idk if there are fans of authors that boycott Lezhin ATM.
Authors thoo, put their work on hiatus as per the issue.
I wanted to support he authors so i recharged and bought most of the mangas I enjoyed. But i wont for a while. Since i wanna support the authors not lezhin
its not that they're not paying them, the contract says a 30% goes to author monthly, minimum wage of 1800, they want a higher %. They apparently changed the free anual checkup from anual to once every 2 yrs without warning.
They protested against pay cuts for delays/ aparently lezhin has a blacklist for protesters ( they wont promote their work if they are) etc.
