I doubt it's because they forget. In a manga, you only get so much space to tell your story on a page. Some mangaka's probably omit stuff like that, to cram something else on the page.
i disagree.. In a panel even a small 1x1 space can show some condom and lotion.. To signify proper use of protection.. many manga artists do this.. so omitting it because of the reason you mentioned isn't really acceptable.. If many can, why others can't???? It's because they do not put emphasis on it BY CHOICE.. just saying..
Wow...They know how to use a condom and lubrication before having sex.Most of pairs in yaoi mangas usually forget about all this lol.That part of the manga is pretty realistic.
