The mc had jisuk create a post so he could spread around a rumor that Sihyun was spotted with a male minor and had sex with said minor resulting in a rape. So when the rumors were spreading like wild fire about how he was into young looking guys and possibly raped them. Sihyun just so happened to pick up kyunghee in front of a large majority of his university peers. This led to guilt by association, Sihyun and now kyunghee will be gazed upon with disgust and harsh criticism because of these rumors which the mc originally started, hence it backfired. Remember reputation is everything over there so people, work, appearance, and lifestyle are all judged, and if you happen to know someone whose caught in some shady crap then you'll most likely be ostracized. Even kyunghee's one friend told him not to get him involved because of the guilt by association mentality. Plus some may even be speculating that he's sleeping with him, because it's rumored that Sihyun is ok with young guys so he's getting texts and such that reflect the vulgar view they have of him now. Pretty much Sihyun enacted social genocide on kyunghee and now his image has fallen into disrepute.

I believe he's refering to a picture taken of him and kyunghee when he went to pick him up, because if those pictures were released I think kyunghee would be harassed a lot more. And he probably wouldn't show his face at school, since there would be no way denying those kinds of pictures that Sihyun took. There were a lot of people around so one of them must've snapped a photo and posted it, which landed kyunghee in the middle of the growing rumors. Plus, it seems that a post similar to what jisuk made about Sihyun was also made for kyunghee, because his friend mentioned a post that speculated kyunghee had a boyfriend. So, it could be possible that Sihyun is now doing the same thing kyunghee did, and the possible rumored boyfriend is going to be jisuk. Not only that but some ominous press conference is going to be released in the future as mentioned in chap29. So I'm scared what Sihyun might say and do involving kyunghee and lots of reporters.
