The writer did a lot things plotted well. developed all his characters beyond where they started. Broke Asami down to the bone.(which you don't see) while still keeping him some what in manga character, That was hard to do and do for free. this was no soap opera treatment of the relationship. The writer took Asami and reworked him . You can say you did not like that fine that . fine but show respect for the work done. Well written fic.

What this person has written is bullshit, and I’m not saying it from the perspective of a crazed fangirl.
This work is probably one of the more popular yaoi mangas out there, and as such it’s going to want to appeal to its readers as much as it can. Said readers are teenage girls who fantasize about a rich, good-looking, powerful man falling for the first time for someone completely ordinary but at the same time irresistible for some reason, as a stand-in for themselves. The objective of this work is not to be dark, complicated or mind-boggling, it’s to let the teenagers fantasize, enjoy a bit of action and get their fill of eye candy.

That can be said of just about every m/m manga here. no one is going to sell any manga with 2 people who are not drawn well.rich or not so rich. Finder does have it's moments as have others. Otherwise it could not hold any one for 16 years.(some are long term readers)Can't say I've been reading it that long but this story for a long time and not a teen don't need to insert myself not every one fits the type casting. I like the story.

Now I understand why is she so depressed lately. Pushing an author to draw and write a teen ager vomiting stuff while being more than 35 years old, is surely sad. If it is the way it is, probably she's not more interested in writing childish shit. I repeat: if this is the way it is, 'cause reality might be different and better.

I’m not saying it’s bad or that the story isn’t interesting. But I am saying that it’s not the focus point of the work. It’s the cliche of a basically perfect man falling for an ordinary spunky person. It’s practically the ABC of every fanfic out there. And then tons of hot sex between the two.
Not one reader wants to see “the total destruction of Takaba Akihito at the hands of Asami Ryuuchi”. It’s just not gonna happen. The editor would tell the author she’s crazy. We’re going for an erotic love story with action on the side, because the seme us part of the mafia and that just makes it hotter, because it’s an extreme bad boy case.

You do make a valid point about manga they are just stories and some people are over invested in them.

I don't see it that way, 'cause the manga is a bit more adult that it is shown and understood by any teeny outside, it isn't a case that a big amount of viewfinder's fanfics are shitty/porny/soapy/fluffy stuff, 'cause some people are too shallow to look a bit more inside an apparently ordinary love (?) story.

I personally don't think the story is THAT deep or dark. The post was interesting but mostly just fuckin unecessary. Also, asami didn't intentionally "ruin" fei's life. It was some stupid misunderstanding. I think of asami as a pretty rational dude, I don't thunk he would waste his time fuckin around with some bubbly photographer if he wasn't being serious, sweetie.
