I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for saying this and I don't know if some of you thinks the same way I do but I'm really starting to hate Ritsu. I don't really know why but I think the main reason is because of his selfishness. He doesn't want to confess his love for Takano but he also doesn't want Takano leaving him alone and giving him up. It's really pissing me off to the point of pitying Takano whenever he's feeling insecure about Ritsu's feelings for him and wanting him to just go find someone else. The heck!! It's not like he's the only one who got hurt real bad because of their misunderstanding back in high school!

The only thing keeping me from reading this til the end is because I wanna know how Ritsu'll confess his love. Oh! But the main reason I still love this is because of Kisa and Yukina, I love them!!

Whew!! I'm so glad I got that out of my system

You and me both. I'm seriously and really losing my patience with Onodera and he's becoming a pain in the butt. Ritsu says that his past was a worst and bad time, and yet why are all his flashbacks and memories about all the good and happy times that he and Takano had...because he can't swallow up his pride and stubbornness, forget that dumb and stupid past misunderstanding, and admit and confess that he loves Takano. It just really makes me angry and frustrated that it has to take all this time just to wait for Onodera to utterly and completely fall in love with Takano...even though at the end he eventually will.

Yeah I kind of agree. I don't really dislike him.. but at the same time.. I'd have left him to his own vices long ago...

I also love Yu and Kisa the best :) I wish they were the main story sometimes. I feel bad for Takano

can we have a round of applause? like I thought I was the only one. I admit I started this manga because I loved junjou romantica. however, I wouldn't call it selfishness because the reason ritsu doesn't want to get together is because he thinks if he gets too close too that person that person will get hurt. it pisses me of because ritsu shouldn't overthink things and realise that he cant decide whats better for others and that he derserves a shot at happiness.

Onodera is scared. The misunderstanding between them wounded both of them severely and while Takano is over it and willing to put everything on the line for Onodera, Onodera is still scared. He's overcome what happened but still thinks about the fear of it happening again or losing this love after he gives himself fully to it. The first time was so painful he's scared he won't survive it again. Let alone with the same person. I think that makes him even more afraid bc he's already experienced losing Takano before. And Onodera still has reservations about how society will look at them especially now that they're adults with full-fledged careers. He feels the pressure from his mother (which Takano never has to deal with bc his parents are f*cking losers). He doesn't know what to do or if it's worth fighting for so he stays stagnant. He knows how he feels but it gets caught in his throat time and time again bc he's just uncertain of what he should do and how much he can give. Everyone goes at their own pace. By the end, it'll have taken a year for him to get past all his own hurdles and come to terms with everything (i know for us it's been 35+ years but for him, it's only one). He's not being selfish imo. He's making sure he can give Takano what he needs/deserves before committing to anything and doing what's best for himself as well, which everyone should do. And he also wants to get there on his own. Takano puts a lot of pressure on him (though understandable) but Onodera needs to get there by himself so he can stand by his side without all these doubts and reservations clouding his thoughts.

Well thank you very much for sharing your views on Ritsu. I really appreciate it and I somehow managed to understand him better. Maybe I already understand him more than I think I do but I'm just refusing to admit it, maybe because I expect him to be like Misaki from Junjou... He maybe a tsundere but he always manages to show his love for Akihiko properly that's why I love him more than Ritsu. Hehehehe.

But even though I understand him more now, I'm still really pissed at him although it mellowed down somehow (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
