Weird I thought this would all be fairly obvious but I guess some readers haven't known closeted, self hating individuals like Kairi (even then some critical thinking should fill in the blanks). There's so many guys like him out there especially in societies that look down on homosexuality.
Agreed!!! I mean c’mon, it’s already hard enough to come out as lgtbq+ but at such a young age tell you that it’s disgusting is super traumatic. And his sister said that. HIS SISTER. Kids naturally and most of the time follow their family and look to them for guidance and to learn, so when his sister said those things then it’s not surprising that he’s gonna build defensive walls and try to force himself to be “normal” according to his sister.
And kids are most of the time cowardly and follow what older kids do and say anyway. I mean the kids in the beginning were all proud about ejaculating and knowing about sexual stuff because they felt like they were adults. Basically kids are idiots and weak sometimes, and it carries into their adult lives most of the time if Those around them don’t accept them. Smh. And accepting that trauma and getting past it isn’t easy. We can only say that it’s easy because you’re not in that position.
I mean is it frustrating to see? Hell the fuck yeah, but let’s be realistic. He’s definitely a dick for blaming his homosexuality the other kid but he’s obviously regretful. Now I do hope that he gets a RUDE ass wake up call tho bc the other guy has been waiting for him so patiently and he’s such a ball of sweetness.
Everyone is shitting on Kairi and I just gotta say...can you stop to think about it for a second? That girl made him feel shameful for his feelings at a young age, its actually a very traumatic event for a child. He isn't a manwhore, he's try to cope with the guilt and shame he feels for his attraction to another boy. The subconscious works in weird ways and while he is making bad choices by betraying Wataru as kids....its honestly expected for children when made to feel they did something wrong. Even as adults we hate feelings we've done something wrong and being yelled at like something normal was creepy or disgusting...
