Totally agree with you. To be honest, I even think Nemu is a tad bit too good for maya. Yes, he has his flaws, but he still forgave Maya for the sexual harassment. That is not something anyone can do.
Appering someone who goes after Nemu would, in the very least, give Nemu more confidence and teach Maya a lesson that there are better guys than him who wants Nemu. Nemu is honest, slow, perverted, cute and etc. There should be other gay guys who would like that.
Maybe like that he will stop lying.
