Hi. I do get where you're coming. I can perfectly understand the part where he questions gin why gin likes him as part of his self-hatred, since I've been there. And im somone who has self-hatred i swear but i did not use it as a reason to hurt others, use others. Whatever hate to myself i have, i kept it to myself and cause pain only to myself. Maybe it's different on everyone since we have individuality, but that doesn't entirely justify why he have to hurt the uke.
Same. Although there are different effects of self-hate, I didn't use it as a reason to hate others, especially the ones who accepts me. I do stuff that isn't supposed to be done, and also torturing myself mentally, but never did I (nor will I) use it as an excuse to everyone around me.
I have overflowing love to those people who accepts and lifts me up when my self-hatred surface. So i seriously cannot fully understand the seme and i'm open to his situation but yea differences.
That guy was cool saying that to you. I mean, it did open your eyes that you were, forgive the wording, lame when you used to have attitude problems. I'm assuming that was your self defense in order to cope up with your self-hate (since were talking about self hatred here). But since you can openly talk about it know, i can only say that you've change a lot, and for the better.
