Well..there is a difference with fat and chubby. Chubby is not that fat. Just having some extra weight but fat is a lot of extra weight. And based on how the mangaka draws, her normal girl is usually really slender, so for her that is quite chubby than her normal. XD
LOL She wasn't that fat :P To me,her face just looks a little more round because the chin isn't pointy xD
