i've read something similar to seme's problem on dr. frost.
where he believes the lies he made up without intention to deceive. confabulation? idk, but its interesting.

    This one is the most plausible guess I read so far. I was thinking this was a case of psychological amnesia and I was thinking does a person need to have a concussion to have an amnesia. You just solved my question. Thanks!

    I think it's good enough of a twist. This case is usual I guess but it was never identified as a psychological impairment. If you didn't post this I wouldn't have known. So thanks. Split/multiple personality or dissociative identity disorder is more popular for a plot twist, I guess.
