The Presents

I think Misaki subconsciously thinks he isn't worth the amount usagi spends on him. But that's just my thoughts.

When you grow up middle class, things like that can make you uncomfortable. I have friends who are rich and it felt really awkward.

If I were in a relationship, I think I’d be a lot happier about getting something meaningful than a checkbook.

I feel ya. I'm not even lower middle-class. I'm in the working class. Sometimes I do feel really poor and awkward seeing middle and upper class people.

The thing is whoever the giver maybe you can't just take something so classy and be happy about it

When you grow in middle class you're not accustomed to get things like this even if your dad does it believe me i have experienced this

I think it's definitely partially because of his caring personality. He doesn't want people to spend a lot on him. He knows saving money is much more important than spending it on lavish gifts for him.
