Actually a lot of people who practice Dominance/submission and BDSM have nonsexual dynamics!

There's quite a bit to it aside from sex, like trust, excitement, stress relief, brain chemical responses, etc.

I know about it but can't understand (as I am on a path to become the holy virgin ghost) how the people engaging trick their brain because if the brain knows it's an act is it even successful? But the concept is quite romantic if you think of it in the sense of trust, the subjugation to your partner thingy but in the comic you can tell they had sex the artist chose to keep it pg. What's the point of showing their foreplay if it's never going anywhere. As a reader, you tend put yourself in a character's shoes but if the scene to scene change is consistently smooth, it kinda breaks the connection between a reader and the characters which is quite the damper.

Actually BDSM isn't about sex. The sex is usually kept seperate.
