Nah it's you who just so desperate for AxF even if it doesn't suit the situation. Good thing your not the author or we would get another lousy fanfiction. Let's see what happen in the new chapter and whether or not it will happen as you wish.
I can't wait for the next chapter, in my personal opinion I hope we get to see Asami's reaction if he gets to know that the temple was under attack (probably). I'm really curious to see how is he going to react to it!
