i think its from the past, he appears in another story by the same author, someone posted a link to it before. but from what i understood his unrequited love is already in a relationship so i dont think he will magically come back and whisk his love interest away. the girl on the other hand seems crash on our baby pretty hard so that could be a problem in the future for lihuan and that underclassman who seemed to have been plotting something with the red head (from the military training group).
