Bitter sadness

I wish she also wrote sweet stories because I'm in love with her art style but most of her mangas have this bitter sadness to them that I don't enjoy so much. Sleeping Man was great though i wish it has been longer.

They're all sweet though? It wouldn't be story without some angst and they're all beautiful and full of love. At least the completed ones are. And im sure the uncompleted ones will end up that way. So far, I haven't seen any sad ending from zariya. But srsly, one of my favorite authors, and I only have a handful. Her works are so amazing. True masterpieces ♡♡

Masterpiece is in the eye of the beholder. I LOVE her art but her stories have a bitterness to them. Conflict and angst are not the same as bitterness, there's a difference. It's not the endings I'm talking about there is an underlying melancholic theme in her stories.

While I do agree there is a slight melancholic feel to them I feel like that's what makes it so beautiful. That she is able to weave that in there without the use of dialogue... However I guess there are people who don't like that. As for me the little heart spasms I get are what keep me going XD
PS. Her stories do kind of feel lonely huh. I've always felt like something about them were different but your description fits it perfectly. But I just love how that sadness transforms into a happy ending... don't you?

Not all stories of Zaria are sweet. Remember Mob for Jack? Lol

Which one is that? Also, sweet is prob not the right word. I just think her work is beautiful. So complex yet heartwarming.

Just check for it. Mob for Jack is that one where Jack had sex with his (step)father (?), and later got gangbangeg while in the military.
Complex and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I find that most of her yaoi are, yes, well drawn, but are rather plotless.
Recently Zaria did tried to give more lines to her yaoi but they're still less complex than authors' work.
