I love the author and her work

First I was disappointed that there was no new chapter, but then I read the interview....absolutely hilarious!
(Not to mention the hot sketches (≧∀≦))
I was always hoping they would switch at some point (more Sekes, please Yaoi-Gods!!!), but now I see where the author is coming from and I would actually be fine with no role reversal?? What is happening???!!

From the way the reply is phrased, I think that the questions/comments being directed at the author are about people not thinking they suit their "roles" and want them to permanently switch, not just be seke.

Ah I guess I was a bit unclear, the Seke stuff was more in general for the genre not specifically this one story :)

Anyway, since at least for Eunsuk it was shown from early on that he is fine with both positions, I have always hoped that they would not stick to fixed positions but switch it up constantly depending on the mood/circumstances. There are just too few mangas/manhwas which portray something like that (I remember one.......a long time ago -_-).

So yeah for the author to convince me that the current, fixed positions are for the best is a great feat indeed :D

Oh I definitely agree. I loved Dark Heaven because they switched like mad. And Haru wo Daite Ita. And pretty much any series that has seke. They're so obsessed with the roles and tropes, it makes me sad. When they switched in Love Stage, the author put this huge warning on it that the sex scene may upset readers... because they switched...

Oh nice, thanks for the recommendations! I read Haru wo Daite Ita a long time ago and totally forgot they switched (shame on me -___- ). With Dark Heaven and Love Stage I never got far enough for the switching part, I should check them out again :) But I´m shocked there was a reversal in Love Stage, it totally did not seemed to be the type to me when I read the first chapters. But man quite sad the author thought it necessary to include the warning (or even worse that the warning might have been warranted).
The one I meant is Koi ga Bokura wo Yurusu Hani. It has been a while since I read but I always remembered it as the one where the role reversal was incorporated in an interesting and meaningful way during their relationship and not just as a one-time experiment/fan service at the end for the readers.

I´m always surprised by the fact that so few authors challenge the fixed top/bottom roles, since there are so many interesting stories you can tell outside these limitations.
But then the gay men I know mostly also stick to specific roles, which is quite interesting to me since it makes me question my own assumptions about switching being the most natural state and the fixed roles being mostly an adaption from the heteronormative gender binary??
Eh I think I´m getting off topic...

You'd have to get a licensed copy of Love Stage to get the switching chapter. I don't think scanlations have gotten up there. I'm a huge fan of any mangaka that either writes switching or throws the normal roles out the window.

Wow hey can I add that I totally agree and DID THEY ACTUALLY FINALLY SWITCH IN LOVE STAGE!? I never thought they did! I really wanted to see Izumi as top! If they did, that's so great (≧∀≦) and I agree, I love how Eunsuk is the pretty, shorter one but is still the top it really challenges the norms where the masculine guy is the seme and the girly one is the uke (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I love the more feminine semes (especially if they have long hair and the uke has short hair ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
