Someone could be someone's else everything but not romantically. My bestie is my everything, hell she gives me strength to battle life. But as bi as I am, I wouldn't want her as a lover. I want her as a bestie, as a sister. I think Takao feels that way about Yuki. Also, I think it was good that Takao decided to be with his lover, he needed that social connection and new experiences. Not that old experiences are bad, it's just that Yuki controlled him a little too much and that's not good. However, I do agree with you that Yuki and Takao did distanced in their friendship, which if they are best friends shouldn't have happened. Unless the author do intended to be keep being bestie but just doesn't show it, we do not know.

Also, that does not mean they are not friends anymore. yuki and takao's special friendship bond will not go away. It is also important (and healthier) to go out there and meet other people, not just keep to themselves. They are growing up and changing. It's not a bad thing.

It's a new relationship and he's excited for it. Obviously he's gonna want to spend some time alone with his boyfriend. It's not like they'll never talk again. It won't kill him to not walk home with him once in a while or talk every day. If Takao didn't pull away a little Yuki wouldn't have found his current boyfriend either so in a way he should be thankful Takao cut the apron strips on their friendship.

No, you missed HUGE parts of the story, obviously, if you really believe that. Takao was the one who was FIRST implied to be in an unrequited love relationship with Yuki.

Yuki was not controlling. That's what the friends like blackie that I had wanted me to believe about the friends like Yuki that I had. BIG mistake I made believing them. First ones to abandon me? My 'blackie' friends. The ones who always returned to my side after *I* pushed them away at the behest of my 'blackie' friends? My 'Yuki' friends.

And you completely missed my argument. I wasn't trying to argue that Yuki doesn't have an unrequited love for Takao. I was arguing that Takao simply loves Yuki as a good friend, not romantically. That just because he loves his best friend doesnt mean he wants a romance, he just want their good friendship to last. Which, of course isn't what Yuki wants.
I'm not sure what you mean by "blackie friends" and "Yuki friends." Are you referring to the types of people like Hiro and Yuki? If so, then I am sadden by the Hiro type of friends who left you and they are not really the Hiro type of friends. Hiro is a challenging person but he cares about Takao. They should've care about you too. I'm happy you found yourself surrounded by loving Yuki type of friends.
