The seme couldn't have known that about the uke. As far as he COULD have known it WAS consensual. That's how he rationalized his actions anyways. So no he wasn't being deliberately abusive as you imply. He was abusive, simply because he didn't even seem to care about the guy's sudden change in demeanour. No deliberate about it, mmkay?

The seme treated the uke like shit, he was definitely borderline abusive. I know the uke says he's ok about playing rough, but something in his eyes tell that rough sex is something that he was forced to be accostumed with for his line of work,not some masochism kink he desperately wanted . I feel in the uke's eyes you can see a hidden longing to be loved and cared by somebody, not thrown across and slapped like some ragdoll. The uke character reminds me of those yaoi characters who have mistreated so much in their life that they have already given up about being treated well by others. When you get treated like shit for quite sometime, you get used to it. The uke hides all that under a facade of laughter and snarkiness.
