Haha it’s explained in the beginning that he’s in college but he came back home because he couldn’t cook.
i literally have reread this like 20 times but only on mrm and they never mention college in that translation T.T they use "staying with your parents" instead of "back home" like in this translation so i honestly never connected it with college dfhjfsk
OMG i guess i usually only read this on mrm and just come here for the comments, but mrm translates yuuki and masaki's first convo abt his break as just him being on "holiday" while mangago translates it as "break from college"..... IM SHOOK?!?!?! i thought he was in hs at the very beginning of the series KDJGHJKFHGKJ
