In Spanish "diablos" can mean "shit"/"dammit"/"fuck it" or what suits the one speaking. Like "maldición" is "curse it" is a way to manifest -in a sense- dislike to a situation. I hope it helps you (⌒▽⌒)

    I did "jeez" as a non-vulgar alternative. While I have no problems using those words in my everyday life (Haha. My mother would kill me if she knew) I think she is the type of person who wouldn't be comfortable unless it was full of raw emotion. I didn't think the context was super emotional. I will take it into account next time if the situation warrants it though. Thank you. :) I still think ducks are hardcore devils though.....

    Me tooooo. When I would visit NYC often as a kid, I felt like I had an invisible target on my body somewhere that only pigeons could see. I have been pooped on quite often by them. That warrants shouting out "diablos". lol
