I agree, it's heartbreaking. But also the mom seems to have big difficulties too. the father kind of left her to fend for herself and wasn't really involved in the child-rearing. Do I like the mom? no, but I can understand the why. and once I understand, I tend to be less angry.
I pity Skylar. What kind of parents would abandon their child or neglect them when they're sick? I mean, THEY SHOULD FUCKING GIVE THEIR CHILD MORE ATTENTION AND CARE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY NEED OR ELSE THEY'LL DEVELOP SOME SORT OF BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS...which is happening now.
