Yeah, the character development is great and as much as I hate what Ming Qing did, if Ming lan is to marry one of the brothers as it's been foreshadowed, they needed to separate and drift into a non-platonic relationship.
Yea ur right plus I vote the pairing of Ming Lan and Ming Jing, their both so adorably awkward together that its surprisingly entertaining (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Yea the cover of the pairings were already decided so its their fate to do what the author wants them to do (sigh)... （￣へ￣）

Ming Lan in the first chapters was very silent and hardly shows any expressions but now she can greet and smile, wow! I'm super impressed and surprised by that reaction! ヾ(☆▽☆)
