i like em more too. ^-^ .... I wouldn’t say they’re progressing more though... I mean they’re still in the enemies / tolerating stage of their relationship .. mo literally saying “i’ve been tolerating you for too long” in this chapter while jian yi has confessed already and xi has accepted. but i think the side couple’s bickering is oddly cute.. or the ‘chase’ per se. lol
I'm sorry but the author doesn't seem to know what to do with the lead couple anymore. Their relationship growth feels kind of stagnant now.
The thing is they both already like each other and are best friends from the start. Where do you take it from here that's not explicit dating? Not sex but I mean showing obviously they are a couple. It seems Old Xian doesn't want to do that yet and it'll probably happen after he returns from the main kidnapping that ends up lasting years. So for now yea their chapters will seem stagnant and like fluff or gag while He Tian and Mo will have chapters that feel more advancing since there is so much room to explore with them. Not already being friends from the start or already being in love from the beginning gives OX a lot to play with.
