It's a bit dissapointing to see Naboru make the first move. On the other hand... What Hayato did was pretty unforgivable and no matter what he did to make it up, Naboru was not ready yet for any kind of apology and would reject it right away. So, maybe it's better this way?

Oh yeah, unpopular opinion: I don't understand Hayato for calling Souma kind. I mean, Souma is boy with a lot of issues and trauma. To top it off, he's hormone driven, too! It's not as if Souma could do something about it, but his "kindness" is not much more than that of a stranger. Like, who doesn't help somebody with a sprained wrist. A sprained wrist he got, because you JUST PUSHED HIM.

End rant.

Umm you switched the unpopular and popular opinions around, even though the person just below you showed you what is indeed the POPULAR opinion. And contradicted yourself at the same time.

After all saying that someone ISN'T kind because they accidentally sprained someone's wrist just because they are hormonally driven and have a lot of issues and trauma but leave out the OTHER person's actions, namely how they drove another person to jump off a building (and, again, attempting to explain that to someone does NOT mean the listener automatically has an obligation to listen) is not only victim blaming b.s. 101 but ALSO contradicts the message in your first paragraph about how Hayatos actions are unforgivable, to put it BLUNTLY.

I hope you didn't just equate hormonally driven with homosexuality either?

    *popular victim blaming b.s. 101.

Also, as you probably already know, I agree with your ACTUALLY unpopular opinion.

I'm not saying Souma isn't kind. What I mean is that I don't find Souma *exceptionally* kind, like Hayato probably does, because he likes Souma and one of the reasons he gives for it is his kindness. It's just this reasoning that feels a bit weird to me, looking at all what happenend and Souma not interacting that much with others... (kindness you also show to others). But I guess... Hayato feels he is treated kindly by Souma, because of all the shit he pulled off in the past, is what I think you're trying to say?

And the thing about swtiched popular and unpopular opinion: perhaps you could explain that to me again, because I don't really understand ^^

If I equated hormone driven behavior with homosexuality, girl, I wouldn't even be on this website. To be honest, Souma en Hayato's relationship feels unnatural to me. But that's MY opinion, for which I probably get a lot of hate

that was rude..... anyway, even if hayato was a terrible person, he has obviously changed, which i think should be taken into account. plus, souma decided to come to false conclusions (namely, that hayato doesn't actually love him just because he didnt in the beginning). its true that one isnt obligated to listen, but it’s mean and selfish to stop the talker halfway through and jump to conclusions. if he had listened to the end, they would both probably be a lot happier.
