You should never have written that second sentence. It undermines how seriously ill mangakas can get. They don't want to be sick. It's not at all like a cold that'll get you out of school for a few days. I understand your words were meant to be a light-hearted jab at an unfortunate situation, but this is not the time for these types of jokes.
