It's been a long time since I was that age and while I was working on it, it didn't trigger those memories of when I was that age and thinking that it was an important age at that time. My awkward teen years are a trip down memory lane that I'm reluctant to take. :P
16years means a girl can get married in many countries, so, may be she was emphasising on how their relationship could go to a further level due to her age now.
