I kinda don't get the very last short comic tho...? was it just kouichi missing mitsuru or was there something else?

yeah, it's kouichi's birthday, I think he was looking at the phone waiting for a message from Mitsuru because the (birth)day was ending 28 to 29, but obviously didn't get one. And I think at Mitsuru's part, he was looking like a way of letting go, both of then actually, Mitsuru's now have Shougo, and we got an open ending for the ex and this new guy.
