You should read on. It’s actually about homophobia and racial discrimination and deals very seriously with these issues. The story is really good as well and the ending is great.
I was a „little“ taken aback as well at the beginning (I think it was the scene where the ceo made some really degrading comment so about the black artist? No like seriously I was really shocked and pissed lol like „wtf what was the artist thinking?“) but I’m glad I didn’t drop it.

You're not supposed to like the racists in this story or agree with what they say.
The CEO, the WAF etc. are the antagonists in this story.
One of the topics this story deals with is racism and you can't write a realistic story about racism when there are no racist characters in it.
And that's why I said I wouldn't like it, I don't shy away from racism but I've been told it was a good one I'd like, by my friends, but I'm glad from what I've read and what you've said its not a BL I'd like, thank you (=・ω・=)
If the racism portrayed in the first few chapters is too much for you, you won't feel any better about what's going to happen next. So, yeah, dropping it might be the best for you.
I personally love this comic and while there is fluff and happiness there are many dark and depressing scenes (and scenes that will make you angry).

at first I was a little frustrated, but latter it become soo good so I didn't mind it anymore. the MC was soo awesome (▰˘◡˘▰) he trully was the best!

I haven't gotten far in this and they go and made a false accusation about negros, I know I wouldent like it, its on a thin line for me #－.－)
