It's actually an OAD, and with this they'll be able to keep the smut. If it was a 12 episode anime, they'd definitely tone down the smut and I feel that would bring down the series.

I think they mean Original Animation DVD (there’s a lot of meanings)

Yes that's right, since it's a OAD they will include the Smut scene there.

Completely understand it's gonna be an OAD! I wouldn't expect it to follow the manga and include most of the smut tho. :(
