My grandma had one named Shadow. He was a good boy, a big boy. Huge in fact. As big as me at the time. I miss him as well.
eeyy~~ i know someone who named their German Shepherd Shadow too, but she's a girl
they thought they got a boy puppy and when it was apparent that wasn't the case they kept the name anyway cuz it's a good name and it fit (=・ω・=)
I love German shepherds. My grandmother had one and she named her Loki (rofl I still don't know why). Despite the name, she was the most gentle dog I've ever met; when I was about 6 years old she ran circles around me when we went to the dog park to protect me from other dogs. :') I miss her.
