I've read this so many times and I still don't know why lois/royce is called by both names?? I don't get it...

    In the original Japanese, his name is ロイス. That’s RO-I-SU. That is the Japanese (katakana) for both "Lois" and "Royce." The first group to translate it went with "Lois," I guess not knowing that Lois is a female name, like Lois Lane. But "Royce" is a male name and is the correct translation. In the book it is written as Royce in English somewhere too. The first group still sticks with "Lois," though.

    THANKSSIESS!!!! I was kinda thinking that at first bc lois and royce are kinda similar but the more I said it in my head the more unsure I was for some reason lol
