That's what's so annoying about this lol is the layout of the plot line...its confusing....i think that the author is trying to create suspense but is leaving out important facts for too long...like she should've mentioned Barron or brought him in instead of Lego,
exactly (⌒▽⌒) they need to be more consistent about things.
this is why I use Unripened Expression. there from the start you know he love his childhood friend and heard about him a lot before he show up. but here in S1 or S2 Mono burly mantion Baron....if at all ╮(￣▽￣)╭ while showing more care to Lego then anyone else. it just felt so force and out of no where.
Right in fact he looked angry and tense around him...he was bitter but we didn't know the reason why and we still don't know for sure
very angry like he hated him or something 0-0 then "love" him.
I know right, he was very mean to him and yes he was all in his face but wouldn't he be in his face like he is with Lego..and his play with Lego was more personal than with ginger and other people...but I'm sure this last chapter mono had told him he is always so thoughtful
at least he didn't touch Ginger nipples ╮(￣▽￣)╭ that for sure. it's like they set up Lego for Mono with so many moments, and they had a lot of them. and Lego start to warm up to him only to bomb at us latter NOPE he have childhood friend so he love childhood friend NOW! WTF that kind rendom has fuck. next we know Manana have childhood friend and he love him now, it don't really make sense.
Uh, that actually wasn't random. All the way in season one, Mono has hinted before that he has a history with Mananan's father. And that even Mananan knows Mono quite well. If that isn't a big enough hint alone I don't know what is. Emotions someone has for a childhood friend doesn't just fade away.
If you want to call that interaction random, his interactions with Lego is pretty random too. But that's not always a bad thing since Mono is spontaneous as a character in general. Who he will be with, to me, doesn't really matter since he's pretty suited for both of them.
hinting is not good enough, at least in this case. if they wanted us to really care and not make it rendom has fuck then you have "Unripened Expression". they should have show Baron and Mono past from THE START! no hinting in very small words no one will get, DIRACTLY say it. DIRACTLY show Mono thinking and missing Baron in his mind and their past. that how you show emotions for lost childhood friend.
but no, here it really rendom, the moment Baron show up - bomb Mono love him again while NEVER SHOW any sighns of love before!!! what does make it too rendom and too inconsistance.
while he never did those things to anyone but Lego has playfull he is. he mostly go after Lego from the start Deliberately, he even admit it to him. following him around, taking upon himself to watch over him and touch his nipples. all this is a waste cause if he didn't felt anything, then it a waste of moments! what those moments (Lego and Mono) give to the plot if Mono never felt anything to him?? that he is an asshole? it dosn't give anything to the whole plot, it actually make it a mass. there is a way of doing things, and I guess this one just don't know how to do it.

I think I already comment on it before, but I"m starting to feel the whole story in S2 is inconsistance and bad pace. when I say inconsistance, I don't meen like one stright line - lead to the other line. I mean knowing what you doing and not make scenes that will be pointless to the plot. all the scenes need to give something for the whole plot, some kind of change or development.
in Haram for example, a good one, you at least know that who ever the mc will end up with you still love all the character's cause they were there from the start. and even if they come latter, they still give something to the plot. "Unripened Expression" for example I didn't hate any SHIP or any character! even if they won't end with the MC or would end with the MC. cause they give something to the plot!! any ship in there didn't felt pointless or force.
while here in S2 we got to shove in our faces time and time and time again how Mono will go after Lego, how he will Sexually harass him what he NEVER DID TO ANYONE ELSE!!! and how he keep time and time again do things to get closer to Lego. (looking his love life list, that was Private!) and mock him about it after it while saying he hate him.
then we get shove in our faces a new character that Mono "love" in the past apperantly but never ever TALK ABOUT DIRACTLY!!!! the same happen in "Unripened Expression" only there THE MC DIRACTLY EXPLAIN HOW MUCH HE LOVE HIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND! so we didn't mind that much when the childhood friend show up and say he love him.
while here it feel force, out of no where and inconsistence.
AGAIN if you going to write a story, no matter what story, consistency is very importent!!! even if you going to a different and new plot line no one seen before.
what S1 did best!!! it stay in their limit of the story while knowing what they will do with it. at least that how it felt to me. it never had any pointless scenes like in this one. and in this case, S2 ruin Mono character.
edit: on the positive side I love Manana and Monday so much more now. they so cute and much more interesting then I thought. and of course Lego is the best with the first couple from S1. at least that a good thing unless they broke off out of no where and Mondy will go to get married with someone else ╮(￣▽￣)╭
