Do Japanese have allergies against healthy, non-rapey relationships?

Even though the art is great and the story has potential, the relationship is quite unhealthy. The prince is obsessed with the demon to the point where he kidnaps him and rapes him knowing that half of the reason the demon lord doesn't protest much is cuz he is drugged half out of his mind. And he sees nothing wrong with it, saying shit as if they will live happily ever after in love. At the same time the demon lord quickly forgives the prince for everything cuz he thinks that a completely innocent and insignificant incident warped the princes mind crazy, and now some misplaced guilt and sense of responsibility forces him to quietly go along with what the prince wants. Boy, in your place I would knock him out, get the hell away and level the palace with the ground for what the prince has done.
