Does the anime have a sad ending? I don't know if I should watch it

Its really sad when thr princes leave the palace one by one, especially when linch leave, he had a fight with bruno and the want bruno to saw him for the last time (before he gone) but bruno didn't shown himself.. I need more of this masterpice
Edited : after finished the anime now i get it why many people ship heine sensei and king viktor (〜￣△￣)〜. And its right there're different ending, but dunno, coz the manga isn't over yet ╮(￣▽￣)╭, but ending in the anime make me burst into tears, especially when my precious princes and heine cried. Seriously, i need the S2 for this anime.
