I noticed that too, I'm not sure as to the consumption of the blood but I think what mattered was that Eren ate the host of the War Hammer Titan, or rather what was left over lol. Because I think forcing the Jaw Titan to crush the crystal between his jaws possibly broke some teeth off and I think Eren was able to eat her that way.

i have a feeling it’s going to be a lot easier to understand once it’s animated. lol
Isayama’s getting better but the drawing’s still not very clear sometimes. (hard to make out who’s who, and what’s going on)
