did you forget how this story started ? because if rape in a yaoi fiction is bad for you (which I understand completly) how did you get past the first chapters and love this couple ? Maya rapes Nemu continiously in the first book....
you have a valid point and some "hate" comments you're getting are unfair in my opinion.
However, I think in a case such as this, whether it's rape or not is completely subjective to the person whom the deed was being done to. Even something such as non-verbally consensual sex is not something that will always be black and white. In defense of the story, it is safe to say that there is already a nonverbal consensus between the two characters that either can have his way with the other even when asleep. Basically, it all depends on the dynamics of their relationship. And so, to put it simply, if neither Maya nor Nemugasa consider it rape, then it is not; and if one of them does, then it is.

Well you can down my vote if you want but for me this is rape. Why ? Let me just explain what i'm thinking.
I saw some comments when people say "they are in a relationship for a long time" well yes ? but it doens't change the fact that Nemu used Maya's D when he was sleeping. When the person is not aware to do something, you force him. BUT it would be not a rape if Maya said to Nemu one day "you can wake me up with sex", without knowing when it will happen. Because here you have his consent. In my opinion, the difference is here.
And for others who said "yes but Maya is happy". Well certainly but the act has started on a rape, because he forced Maya who didn't know.
And I think this is dangerous because it reflects an image that you can have sex with your partner when the other person is sleeping, like it doens't matter. It happens a lot in yaoi, where you don't see everytime the consent. You have some yaoi where the consent is given before the sex (when they will have rude sex like Henai collections from Harada) and it's amazing, it'll change the whole thing.
